La familia y los santos...cuando yo era chica una santa muy popular era "Santa Teresita del Ninio Jesus". Habia estampitas de ella por todos lados. Creo que a mi me atraia y me extraniaba al mismo tiempo el verla tan joven, linda y vestida de monja. De sus manos caian muchas rosas. Yo nunca hubiera querido ser monja; es mas, en mi inocencia-ignorancia rogaba a dios que no me diera vocacion de ser monja. Por suerte me escucho. Muy popular era tambien San Antonio de Padua, ya que el era el que se ocupaba de conseguir novios. (Italiano, al fin). Tia Blanca era muy devota de un santo, creo que era San Cayetano (?) patrono del trabajo y de los trabajadores. En Bs As, en Liniers o sus alrededores hay una iglesia dedicada a este santo y anualmente se hacen largas procesiones a las que tia Blanca asistia. Como ella cientos de otros que buscaban ayuda para conseguir trabajo o iban a agradecer el trabajo conseguido. Tio Berto si que se dedico a los santos despues que dejo de trabajar en agricultura: se paso infinitas horas restaurando estatuas de ellos. Acabo de leer un librito muy chico titulado "The Teachings of the Inner Ramana". En el aprendi un significado de la palabra "devotion" que no conocia y que me gusto mucho mas que la antigua idea asociada con personas de rodillas desgranando las cuentas del rosario o balbuceando plegarias generalmente de peticion. Basta de palabras. Mira adonde me llevo tu tema, Cristina. Ah! El amor es lo unico que importa. Chau. WOW!
